With her nearly 30 years of experience as a corporate and event marketing professional, April Thurmond Dumas skillfully oversees M&A Leadership Council’s ongoing marketing efforts. She also manages the program registration process and planning, while leading the day-to-day operations of the M&A Council’s home office in Plano, Texas.
April started her career in the financial software industry in 1991, since then she has developed her knowledge and skills to create a comprehensive customer experience that exceeds expectations for a diverse range of industries. Whether it is research and strategy, or direct marketing and collateral, April’s hands-on, results-driven approach helps the Council stand out in an ever-changing market. She consistently strives to ensure that the quality of customer service/customer experience is integral to the M&A Leadership Council’s programs, allowing attendees to maximize their learning experience.
April is an active member of the American Marketing Association as well as the Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter, and holds a BAS in Communications from Dallas Baptist University.
