Dean W. Kepraios

Dean Kepraios, WTW's M&A champion for Texas, has 26 years of consulting experience with multinational organizations on assignments, including M&A work in key risk analyses for “quick-turn” due diligence to determine strategic fit and valuation due diligence for deal negotiation and pricing, pre-close integration planning and execution, post-close integration execution of global benefits strategy, design, financing, and delivery, securing efficiencies in countries with increased scale.

Dean has also done Spin-off support, assisting in the separation of programs from the parent and ensuring readiness after end of transition services agreement, global benefits strategy, design, financing, and delivery, governance strategy and implementation, executive benefits plan design and compliance, union negotiations, including providing assistance to the management team “at the table”.

He has presented on a variety of human resources-related topics for the American Academy of Actuaries, the American Bar Association, the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists. In addition, he has been a guest lecturer at the University of Illinois where he has spoken on similar topics.

He has worked with a variety of clients from a range of industries, including airline, automotive supply, engineering and construction, food, beverage, and tobacco, manufacturing, mining and exploration, oil and gas, professional services, specialty chemicals, and technology.

Dean earned a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1993. In 2013, he earned a Master in Business Administration in Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he graduated with honors. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
